In an attempt to make tweeting easier, Twitter is testing out an upcoming feature called CoTweets.
Tweets can be co-authored by two accounts using this feature. Those who co-authored the tweet will also be able to view their profile picture and handle.
At the moment, however, this feature is still in testing and is only available to select US, Canadian, and Korean accounts. CoTweet invitations can now be sent by eligible Twitter users.
Using CoTweets, two accounts can co-author a tweet on Twitter, according to a tweet from the Twitter Create account.
Neither user’s profile picture nor handle will appear on the co-authored tweet.
“CoTweets are Tweets written by two people and shared simultaneously to both of their profiles and their followers’ timelines”, according to the company. Observable CoTweets will have two profile pictures and user names in their headers, which will make them easy to identify.
