LSET offers an optional add-on industry training program to its students. Students wishing to enroll in this program require to pay fee of £2000 to receive training from industry experts at IT companies in the US or UK. This is a month-long program which takes place at the host company’s location. Interested students need to go through an assessment and host company’s interview process to be accepted in the program.
The Level 4 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) is the first year of the NCC Education degree program. In the UK university system, the qualification is equivalent to the first year of a Business IT degree. This course is designed to develop essential thinking and study skills in IT and Business through a combination of academic and vocational subjects. In addition to developing an understanding of business needs, students can contribute to the development of computer systems and networks, databases and websites.
Students completing the programme will be able to enter the IT and business professions with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and will be able to apply these skills to a broad range of IT-related functions.
NCC Education’s Level 4 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L4DCBM) represents the first year of the bachelor’s degree program. The course is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree at a UK university.
The course will provide students with the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills in IT and business through a balance of academic and vocational subjects. During this course, students will be able to contribute to the development of computer systems and networks, databases, and websites within a business context, as well as develop an understanding of business needs. By getting this qualification, they’ll be able to gain a thorough understanding of the information technology and business profession, and they’ll be able to apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of IT jobs.
This qualification prepares students for NCC Education’s Level 5 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L5DCBM), which is equivalent to the second year of a UK bachelor’s degree, or for transferring to a university.
If a potential student’s first language is not English, they must also reach the English Language requirements of either:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 5.5. Alternatively, take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test.
