LSET offers an optional add-on industry training program to its students. Students wishing to enroll in this program require to pay fee of £2000 to receive training from industry experts at IT companies in the US or UK. This is a month-long program which takes place at the host company’s location. Interested students need to go through an assessment and host company’s interview process to be accepted in the program.
The LSET Level 4 Diploma in Computing provides students with the opportunity to gain direct entry to a Bachelor’s Degree program in the second year of university. Your Level 4 Diploma will allow you to pursue a career in a variety of sectors within the IT industry, including programming, software engineering, network management, and e-commerce.
In the Level 4 Diploma, key modules will be examined in-depth, including computer systems and software, systems analysis and design, and management information systems. A foundational education in computer science will prepare you to enter a university degree program and pursue a career in the field.
This Level 4 Diploma will exempt you from completing units if you lack a traditional entry qualification. This is an OFQUAL-regulated qualification that is recognised in the UK and will enable you to pursue higher education in a shorter time frame. All units will be discussed extensively in the course, and you will gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of computing.

This qualification provides a pathway to a Level 5 Diploma in Computing, which provides entry into the third year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing.
If a potential student’s first language is not English, they must also reach the English Language requirements of either:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 5.5. Alternatively, take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test.
