Abdullahi has a PhD in Network Security from Liverpool John Moores University and is currently a Senior Lecturer in Computer Networks & Mobile Technology at the University of West of England. Dr Arabo is also a reviewer for EPSRC, British Council and Newton grants/proposal applications. In the past, he was employed as a Cyber Security consultant by BT and a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he led research on the security of connected home futures.
