Biography

Antonio Melillo studied Business & Marketing at University Of Lincoln where his love for business, specifically relating to start ups was founded. After University, Antonio was successful in gaining placement onto Nestle’s Sales Graduate programme where he took his first step into the world of FMCG. Fast forward 10 years, Antonio has worked for Nestle, Johnson & Jonson and Danone in a number of senior commercial roles. For the last 12 months, Antonio has followed his passion and now has a consultancy business, working specifically with start ups across the FMCG and consumer related industries, working to mentor, secure investment, setting go to market strategies, pitching to and securing new business and much more!

Projects Worked On

CBD Oil: Co-created UK based CBD Oil brand, built and implemented full go to market strategy along with sourcing of retailers and delivering pitch decks

Energy Drinks: Contracted to re-build and implement a 3 year strategic roadmap, focused specifically on retailer strategy, and NPD needed to deliver market share targets

Alcohol: Acted as UK distributor / management lead for a US alcohol business looking to launch in the UK. Developed in depth market analysis, aligned with US on a proposed pricing strategy and sourced distributors and warehouse for product.

Healthy Drinks Brand: Worked with a UK based snacking brand on business plan development, and creation of pitch deck to be used for round of investment raising submitted to Seedr.

Snacking Brand: Contracted to bring depth and develop the companies short term strategy after a year of little growth. Via a clear strategic roadmap and retailer strategy, we unlocked a number of additional retailers driving significant growth to the business.
