Biography

Rolando Carrasco is a Oracle Groundbreaker, Oracle ACE, MuleSoft Mentor specialised in API Management, Services Orientation, Distributed Systems, Integration, Event Driven Architectures. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked for companies like Hewlett Packard and Oracle. Currently is the CTO of a Mexican consulting firm by the name SPS which is a very solid company focused on Cloud Native Development, CI/CD, Automation, Integration, API Development and Management, Chatbots and Workbots, Machine Learning, Observability.

Rolando has been a constant Oracle Open World and Oracle CODE ONE speaker and a constant contributor within the community with blogs, videos, webinars, podcasts, presentations and event coordinations.

Rolando has been working in the API Management space since 2014. Working with platforms like: Oracle, Software AG, APIGEE, MuleSoft, KONG.

Experienced in RAML, OpenAPI, API Blueprint. And with oldest technologies that describe what a service offers, such as: WSDL, WADL.

And working in the integration space since 2001. Involved in several projects related with event driven architectures. Working with technologies like JMS, Rabbit MQ, HornetMQ, IBM MQ, Kafka, AWS SQS, MuleSoft AQ

Rolando is currently involved with the MuleSoft community, collaborating with tecnical articles, hackathons and as a MuleSoft Mentor.
