Azure Security Centre: This is a unified infrastructure security management system that strengthens the security posture of your data centres and provides advanced threat protection across hybrid workloads in the cloud.

Google Cloud Security Command Centre: GCP’s integrated security platform helps you identify and mitigate risks, monitor vulnerabilities, and gain visibility into assets across your cloud infrastructure.

Terraform: An open-source Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool used to provision and manage cloud resources across providers securely and efficiently, supporting reproducible and auditable security configurations.

OWASP ZAP: The Zed Attack Proxy is a free and open-source security scanner widely used for dynamic application security testing (DAST). It helps uncover security vulnerabilities in web apps hosted in the cloud.

CloudTrail & CloudWatch (AWS): These services enable logging and monitoring within AWS. CloudTrail records account activity, while CloudWatch provides observability of infrastructure, application logs, and metrics for proactive incident response.

KMS (Key Management Service): Used across AWS, Azure, and GCP, KMS provides encryption key lifecycle management, allowing you to encrypt and securely store data in the cloud.

Splunk / ELK Stack: These SIEM tools collect, analyse, and correlate security events across cloud workloads. They are used for security monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation.

GuardDuty (AWS): A threat detection service that continuously monitors for malicious activity and unauthorised behaviour using machine learning, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence.

HashiCorp Vault: A secrets management tool used to securely store and tightly control access to tokens, passwords, certificates, and encryption keys for protecting cloud applications and infrastructure.
